Saudi Arabia faces significant moisture challenges due to its hot and humid climate. Excess moisture can disrupt businesses and manufacturing processes, causing costly delays and losses. Whether protecting raw materials and finished goods in warehouses or accelerating drying during construction, our dehumidifiers provide rapid, effective solutions.
Excess moisture can cause mildew, mold, and fungi growth that degrade air quality and damage materials. High humidity also contributes to corrosion and condensation, negatively impacting commercial, industrial, and domestic environments. Maintaining a controlled environment improves productivity and health — Andrews Sykes Hire Saudi is here to help you achieve this.
We address humidity-related problems including:
Our experts offer bespoke moisture control solutions that are energy efficient and competitively priced, helping you save on replacement or reconstruction costs.

There are two different types of dehumidifiers we offer: the Refrigerant units and the Desiccant units. Smaller units are called building dryers, whereas the larger units are known as industrial drying units.
The best way to explain how refrigerant dryers work is to compare it to how condensation forms on a cold window. It contains a compressed refrigeration system, making it the coldest place in the room where it is placed. As air is drawn in, any moisture in it condenses and collects in its container, allowing easy control of humidity in the air.
These units are self-reliant with an in-built air circulation system. A fan pulls air from outside into the unit, passing it through the refrigerated heat exchanger which cools the air and precipitates moisture.
The energies from the circuit, air-steam, and latent energy from the dehumidification process combine and are provided to the refrigeration condenser, which heats up. This warms and dries the air passing through the evaporator before it is transferred back into the room or area. The collected moisture is discarded.
With a capacity of 75 liters per day, Andrews Sykes Hire Saudi’s building dryers deliver high standards of drying. These robust yet compact units are widely used in construction and refurbishment, efficiently drying wet processes economically while reducing shrinkage or cracking. They are cost-effective and may be used alongside heating units to enhance drying. Available in dual voltages: 110V and 230V.
Moisture extraction happens naturally as water discharges from wet substances into dry air. This voluntary, unforced process fully dries concretes and plasters. These environmentally friendly dehumidifiers have lower costs compared to heating and ventilation drying. They require minimal supervision and can run 24/7 with site engineers available for overnight operations, providing peace of mind.
Our latest units include FD40, HD500, FD30, and FD15.

With a capacity up to 600 liters per day, these robust units deliver effective drying for large areas. They use an evaporator and condenser and keep areas dry effortlessly. Our industrial dryers include the DH150 and DH600 models.
Best suited for areas with very low temperatures requiring very low relative humidity, these units use moisture-absorbing materials such as silica gel (desiccant). These materials have high water vapor absorption capacity. Many desiccant dehumidifiers use this material in a ‘rotor’ form.
These dryers generally comprise:
These units can be connected with our air compressors and after-coolers to provide a complete drying solution.
To speed drying, ventilation units can be installed which increase air velocity across wet surfaces.
